After studying Radio Broadcasting & Music Technology at UWL, Tom has developed a great understanding of sound recording, mixing, and mastering along with other key techniques in creating broadcast quality audio and video content.

Tom is a meticulous sound recordist with extreme attention to detail and extensive technical knowledge. His experience can be applied in any challenging environment to capture crystal clear, clean and detailed dialogue and ambiences with the latest industry standard equipment. Utilising a Sound Devices 633 recorder coupled with the newest Sennheiser MKH series shotgun microphones – no detail will be lost on set. Equipment packages are built specifically for each production and are scalable to fulfill any technical requirements.
Post Production Sound
Working closely with the director and the rest of the creative team, Tom has extensive experience in crafting the perfect use of sound and music for any project. Whether that be carefully designing atmosphere, character support, reinforcing narrative or developing special effects to fully immerse the viewer.
Full suite of post-production tools and utilities available to bring any production to life in the edit, powered by ProTools, iZotope and a range of other industry standard equipment. In reality there is no special button or magic microphone available to use during audio post-production for the moving image; however, using Tom’s experience he is able to apply a super efficient workflow and technical knowledge to any project allowing the director to realise their ideal performance and overall sound.
